One of the keys to successful, sustainable weight loss is understanding your metabolism, especially what happens to the metabolism when you diet. When we say “Laws,” these are not real laws, of course, but we call them laws because of the amount of research that supports their existence and the clinical reality of their impact.
These Laws of Metabolism govern much of the way the metabolism functions and responds to diet, exercise, and lifestyle. While there is still much more we don’t know about metabolism compared to what we do know, these laws represent some of the most important things research has proven and now understands about metabolic function.
And, of course, like all things in an uncertain field, these will continue to be debated and refined in favor of better information.

I wasn’t aware that movement was a thing until HFLA! And I also know that I stand a lot cutting out missions quilts for cancer patients, and ironing fabric but the fitbit doesn’t let you know when you’re standing!
